The inspiration behind Legee 7 stemmed from the limitations of general robotic vacuums. While they can efficiently vacuum dust, they often fail to remove stains from the floor. To address this issue, HOBOT Technology Inc. developed Legee 7, a vacuum mop robot that imitates human hand gestures of sweeping and mopping. The device integrates vacuuming, dry mopping, water spraying, and wet mopping into a single mechanism, ensuring a comprehensive cleaning process.

Legee 7 stands out from other robotic vacuums with its unique properties. It offers eight cleaning modes, collectively known as Talent Clean, to handle the most common cleaning tasks. This exclusive patent has been well-received for its flexibility and efficiency. The device also features a D-shape design, simultaneous localization and mapping navigation, and supports Siri and Ok Google voice control systems, among other specifications.

The realization of Legee 7 involved a multi-field integration of injection molding, tooling, in-mold decoration, software engineering, app coding, speech coding, electronics, telecommunications, and mechanisms. This extensive process reflects HOBOT Technology Inc.'s commitment to innovation and quality.

Operating Legee 7 is a simple process. Users need to install all accessories, fill the water tank with pure water or Legee detergent, and ensure the device is fully charged. The Legee 7 App allows users to start the device and complete the appointed task with LDS navigation. The device can also be controlled via Siri or Ok Google, and play recorded voice prompts using the newest feature, Creative Voice.

Legee 7 was designed in Taiwan and started in 2019. It is set to launch in the second half of 2020. The project reflects HOBOT Technology Inc.'s dedication to redefining floor cleaning and enhancing cleaning results. The most significant challenge during the design process was to pick up invisible particles and scrape stains off the floor while collecting accurate terrain information to optimize the cleaning process.
